There’s no such thing as Easter without some chocolate hunting with your family, which is why we got so excited when we found the best easter egg hunts and Trails in and around Kent.
We try to give you as much correct information as we can, but please check with the organiser before you go to make sure no one gets ‘eggy’. Hello, I hope you have a wonderful Easter 2023 vacation!
Here are 20 easter egg hunts and Trails in Kent and East Sussex!
- Sharnfold Farm is a great place to have fun with kids this Easter. Get a map and join the egg hunt along the Easter walk. You can also visit the farm’s new animals, like lambs and chicks. You can book tickets for the magic show from April 3rd to 6th and April 11th to 14th. Admission includes the show.
- 20 cute bunnies are hiding in the windows of some great Tunbridge Wells BID shops across the town. You can follow the Great Bunny Trail of Tunbridge Wells from April 1st to April 16th. One of the 20 prizes is a HUGE jellycat bunny from Jeremy’s Home Store. Other prizes include kids’ play tickets from the Assembly Halls play, Easter eggs from Arte Bianca, and even more bunnies! You can get a trail map here or from the Customer Services Team at RVP on the Lower Mall, which is between Next and M&S. Find out more on the map!
- From April 3rd to April 15th, you can take the Easter Trail at the beautiful Aspens in Pembury. The trail goes around the farm and fields. The lovely cafe there is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. Check out the new menus for kids and afternoon tea.
- Visit the Leeds Castle estate and follow the Easter walk. Along the way, you’ll see spring-themed Easter displays. Kids can solve the clues to get a tasty Easter treat.
- The Easter bunny has hidden eggs all over the grounds at Sevenoaks’s Reuthes. Get your gift from the cafe when you’ve found them all.
- The TN Bunny Trail is open in Sevenoaks Town Centre from April 1st to 15th. The event is open to everyone, no matter what age, so even little kids can join in! Get a sticker and award when you finish the trail, and colour in your front page for a chance to win a Jellycat bunny, an Easter egg, and activities in Sevenoaks from Stag Theatre, Reuthes Sevenoaks, Riverhill Himalayan Gardens, and Little Street Children’s Role Play. The activities will be based on age groups. You can get a free trail sheet whenever you see a TN Bunny, or you can go to thetncard.com/bunny-trail for more information.
- further away, the Lindt Gold Bunny is back at Hampton Court Palace with a path full of stories about famous people who have been there. You can roam freely on Henry VIII’s 60-acre grounds and find the hidden gold bunny statues. When you do, you’ll get a Lindt gold bunny chocolate treat. Yum!
- While the kids are away from school, Laura at The Inside in Calverley Grounds will probably hold an Easter Egg Hunt in the adventure area. Check back soon for more information.
- Visit National Trust Properties this Easter and see what fun things you can find. At the end of your trip, get a chocolate treat. Some of the places that are in this group are Scotney Castle, Knole Park, Sissinghurst, Wakehurst Place, Emmetts Garden, Igtham Mote, and Smallhythe Place. Each trail map costs £3 and has a different theme. You and your family should try to finish as many as you can.
- The ‘Bunny Hunt’ that happens every year at Riverhill Himalayan Gardens is back from April 1st to 10th. Find all the sneaky bunnies that are hiding in the rhododendrons and take your sweet treat. Monday and Tuesday are closed days, but they are open on Bank Holidays.

- Celebrate Easter at Wilderness Wood every day during the school break with a usual bunny hunt and other fun activities for kids.
- The Little Red Riding Hood’s Easter Train ride at Spa Valley Railway. From 7th to 10th April, look for the eggs along the queue.
- It looks like Cotton Tail and her friends got to Demelza Hospice and hid in the beautiful grounds. Find them on April 7th and go to the event to get your gift and enjoy the games, food, and drinks.
- From April 3–10, follow the Easter trail through Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve and answer the puzzle to win a chocolate award.
- There will be family fun at Lullingstone Castle and The World Garden all season long in 2023. From April 8th to 10th, there will be an Easter Trail and Quiz. Plant hunters-to-be can search The World Garden and Grounds for Easter clues and then report what they’ve found to get a fun treat and the chance to meet some Easter characters.
- This Easter, Brogdale has a lot to look forward to. Meet the new animals by following the big Easter egg trail through the fields.
- Would you like to go somewhere new this Easter?
- Learn about some fun and interesting Easter customs from around the world on the family walk at Hall Place & Gardens.
- Spend Monday, April 10th, at Whitstable Castle enjoying the yearly Arts & Crafts Fair and Easter Egg Hunt. There are Easter craft classes for kids and tearooms that are open all day.
- Enjoy the Easter Egg Trail at Betteshanger Park. Following the carrots through the beautiful park to meet a surprise rabbit at the end is a lot of fun for the whole family.
- Explore the grounds of Battle Abbey to find clues and play traditional games. At the end of the trip, you’ll get a chocolate treat.
- In honour of spring, go to Hever Castle & Gardens with a smile on your face and help the Easter Bunny find their treats on an Easter egg hunt that goes all over the fields. Then let your kids help decorate eggs at the free craft class.
